Good Evening 🌺
I wanted to take a moment to share a few life updates and hopefully explain why I’ve been absent from socials and not adding new creations to my sweet Purely Home, Garden & Artisan Delights
Since June, my family and I have been navigating major life changes for my mother, Sharon which included moving her from her home of 30+ years in West Virginia to a beautiful, new assisted living community in Fredericksburg.
I have sense taken over all responsibilities of her care from bills to doctors and everything in between.
She’s adjusted well and after 4 difficult months of transition with every day bringing with it new blessings as well as challenges, she is thriving in her new environment.
Then, just when we thought things were calming down, my father, Roger, passed just a few weeks ago today, and I’m sure this goes without saying, this has been one of the most difficult, heart wrenching, challenging and intensely exhausting seasons of my life!
I don’t know where I would be without my faith in Jesus, my church, family, co-workers and friends!!
Yes! I also have been managing a sweet boutique full time, Hawthorn Mercantile in Colonial Beach during this season and yet, I’m still standing!!
