On March 1, 1954, she married Herman J. Henning. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Meyers of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Debbie Renner, Robert Henning with wife Kim, Teri Schmitz and husband Dallas, Deanna Henning and Seth Henning, all of Kingman; sister Patty Baggett of Kingman; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews that she loved as her own; and many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; her parents, Percy and Gladys Cheatum; son Michael and his wife Carolyn, and son John Henning; and half-brother Darrell Chappel.
Nancy found her greatest joy in making sure her family was cared for. Lovingly known as the “boss” of the family, Nancy was never afraid to speak her mind, keep everyone in line or let her loved ones know exactly what she thought. Her family knew that behind her strong will was an even stronger love for them. Her guidance, strength and steady presence helped shape generations of her family, and they wouldn’t have wanted her any other way.
