This Grandma might be a little biased, but seriously…could Millie be any cuter in her Hawkeye gear?!😍

We’re extra excited for the first Hawkeye game today because Jake will be working at the game, Millie is ready to cheer, and you know the rest of us will be watching every minute!

The KP boys are on the road tonight, but you can bet we’ll be cheering loud from home!🏈📣

Sometimes the best Friday nights are the simple ones…good food, a comfy spot, football, and nowhere else you need to be!❤️

We made it through another HOT one…and I’m pretty sure my air conditioner deserves Employee of the Week!😂🔥

I don’t know about you, but I am READY for the weekend, cooler mornings, pumpkin weather, and a day when I can walk outside without immediately regretting it!🤣🍂🎃

Here’s to finishing this extra-hot week with a smile, a big ol’ cup of coffee ☕️ and the knowledge that FALL IS COMING…eventually!😂🙌

FOR BETTER OR WORSE…and apparently that includes HARVEST!😂🚜🌽

It’s almost that time of year again…
Long days. Short nights. Dust everywhere.
Meals delivered to the field.
Plans made—and changed 10 minutes later.🤣
And plenty of farm wives wondering if that whole “for better or worse” part of the wedding vows included riding in the buddy seat, moving equipment, running for parts, and eating supper at 10 PM!😂

But somehow, through all the crazy, there’s nothing quite like harvest season in Iowa.❤️🌽

This fun custom sign headed out the door this week, and I have a feeling “IN PLANTING & IN HARVEST” might just be the farmer’s version of till death do us part!😂🚜

Here’s to a safe, successful harvest and all the farm families getting ready for the beautiful chaos!🌾❤️

Well…apparently September forgot it’s supposed to be FALL!😂🍂 Another 93° day headed our way, and I am officially OVER IT!🥵 Can somebody please tell Mother Nature the pumpkins are ready and the sweat needs to GO?!🎃🤣

And to all those college kids back on campus…I sure hope dorms and apartments come with GOOD air conditioning these days!😅🙌 Because studying is hard enough without melting at your desk!😂

Well, September sure knows how to make an entrance…and I do believe Mother Nature doesn't realize she's left the HEATER on!😂🔥🍂

I’m trying not to complain though...but give me a cool morning, a nice cup of coffee, and maybe a hint of fall in the air, and I’m a happy girl!☕️🍂🌻

Today I’m just grateful for the small things, the big things, like AC, and everything in between!💗
