Yes, I know it's still HOT outside. But as long as my AC is working, I am knitting gorgeous slouchy hats from my FUSION boutique yarn. This gold one is available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4546285318/gold-slouchy-womans-hat-boutique-yarns?ref=shop_home_active_1&frs=1&sts=1&logging_key=f181d3bfed2437577b0c789754c0e19694982208%3A4546285318

I call this the Sock Knitter's Needle Set. It is the perfect set for the beginner sock knitter or anyone who knits socks, and consists of the woven paisley case by Buttermilk Cottage and five sets of DPNs.

Tucked inside this designer fabric 5-pocket needle case are 5 sets of the sock knitter's preferred needle sizes. Each set includes a five needle set of Sizes 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 (2.0, 2.25, 2.75, 3.25, 3.5 mm). They are 5-inch (13 cm.) long needles.

Get the whole set, just the case or individual needles. Your choice!

Closure is with a grosgrain ribbon.

The needles are Clover Takumi. Made from a polished bamboo, they are light weight and have a warm feel in your hands. I particularly like bamboo double point needles because the stitches are not as likely to slip off the needle when being used. You can find this at buttermilkcottage.com

Creative hobbies aren’t just fun...they may actually support long-term brain health 🧠✨

A recent study found that activities like knitting, crocheting, painting, writing, and other creative hobbies may help slow cognitive aging and keep the brain engaged over time. Researchers believe creative activities stimulate memory, focus, problem-solving, and emotional well-being. ALL important for healthy brain function.

And the best part? You don’t need to be an expert to experience the benefits. Simply making time to create something can make a difference. 🧶🎨💭
