Every time I see Facebook's line "What's on your mind?" I really have to think.

This time is easy. What's on my mind is once again trying to get our craft business to steadily grow.

Soapbox time:

I consider myself a crafter.

Yes I use a laser, saw, or drill but I still take raw material and craft something. Is there really a difference between picking up a pencil, pen, brush or a mouse and designing something?

What i don't do is expect the people I buy my raw material from to provide packaging for the products the sell.

I am a crafter. I am going to make my own boxes if a product I make requires a box. I am not buying a business card holder when I can make my own.

Granted there are exceptions, but I am not going to demand a manufacturer to supply something I am capable of making.

Because the economy was in the gutter luxury items like crafts took a major hit. Why spend your hard earned money on stuff not really needed. I understand this, it's just a fact of life.

I was starting to lose faith, but the last few show we have done have started to restore my faith. Slowly things seem to be improving. I am 90% sure I know why and I sincerely hope I am right.

The new toy is doing what I wanted; though, I wish it had a bit more speed. I can fix that, but need a few more sales.

Until then I will practice patience and enjoy the camping.
