Shortly after returning to work doing edesign, she felt a calling to start a new chapter in her life. Being a mother as well as a military spouse, she needed a project that gave her flexibility. That's when she decided to launch her design blog Abigail Amira, named after her daughter, who inspires her to do more and be more everyday. In 2017, the blog expanded into eCommerce, with a small line of
home goods and gifts. After moving to a small town near her husband's duty station, Amy felt another calling after being dissatisfied with the shopping options available to her. She began talking with friends and people in the community and discovered they too felt that void. In July of 2017, Amy opened up a brick & mortar store offering affordable home decor without sacrificing style. Our reader & customer is someone looking to to be inspired, who won't settle for the cookie cutter styles available. Someone that has a sense of adventure and wants their home to reflect that.
