Another start to finish. This one I’ve slowly been working on a few minutes in the evening. Having a day off I got to obsess over the painting. At times I felt stuck and about to trash the painting. I’m glad I didn’t. The main inspiration are the sweet little wood asters that are blooming right now. They are small but mighty. 🌼

The kitties are putting in their two cents on the current painting. Love this sibling duo. They are keeping me on my toes with their youthful curiosity and clumsiness. Mr. Mittens on the should and Nimh in my arms.

From start to finish. All the fall bulbs coming into work made me think back to spring and all those pretty flower waking up. The painting is 12x12 and looking for a new home. 🌸

I got a few mugs cleaned up and ready for their new homes. Each mug has face at the end of the handle. I call them my goblin friends. Which goblin friend do you like best?

Today is gorgeous and so I took my happy butt and art supplies out to the front porch. My inspiration is my friend’s cat, KitKat. She finally has her garden kitty companion and I just had to paint him in amongst the nana coreopsis.
