Rotary Cutting 101

You rotary cut BUT do you rotary cut with safety and precision? Learn what products work best, how to care for your rotary cutting equipment and how to cut accurately with no dog legs, no slipping and sliding and no waste! You will cut diamonds and squares, triangles and strips. Learn to cut without moving the fabric, keeping straight perfect edges the entire time. Using a square rule is easy once you know how and when you leave this class you will be able to use any ruler made and any shape you wish! It is worth the 2 1/2 hours of your time!

I LOVE paper piecing and hoping you will too. This is one of my favorite classes to teach because I think paper piecing has changed the art of quilting to allow so many of us to make teeny-tiny, detailed quilts without the fuss and nonsense of cutting teeny-tiny pieces. It i a "different" technique but once you learn the method it opens a whole new range of quilt patterns to you. This is a jam-packed class: learn the "check-flip" method, how to make your own cutting chart, what size fabric to use for each section of the block, and what to do and not to do with paper piecing! Come spend the day and walk out with a smile!

Attached is a picture of the May Shop Hop Quilt. Shop Hop begins May 1st and consists of 4 local fabric stores. Quilt is a bed runner that lays across bottom of bed.

A class will be offered at Wooden Bridge if you purchase the kit to complete the bed runner.
