Ahhh! I have the gluten free stickers I ordered from Ash Aesthetics Co. in hand and I am SO happy with them!!

I will have them at the gluten free festival next Sunday but if you’re not local and want to claim any, I can get specific sizing upon request but they’re a great size and amazing quality. I have many of hers on my own water bottle.

They are $4 each or any 3 for $10.

I didn’t realize til today that most of Whole Foods 365 gummy candies are certified GF. Wheat is what gives most gummy candies (and licorice 😭 ) their elasticity so this was a fun find!

Also, I’m obsessed with all things watermelon so I passed on everything but def left with the watermelon rings. 🍉

So there’s a lot of reasons to like University of Wisconsin - La Crosse but this Celiac mom was really impressed with the dining options. In the main dining hall, they fully enclosed a space that is only accessible by two doors that close/latch and the walls are to the ceiling so there’s absolutely no airborne flour or anythingggggg cross contaminating meals and meals that are fully free of the Top 9 allergens, including gluten, are prepared there.

In the main dining hall, Carter and I both noticed they have a microwave that is by the swipe station (hence monitored by an attendant) and it is solely to be used for gluten free items.

Within the main shared dining hall, allergens are clearly noted.

An admissions rep they’ve wanted to do the Top 9 Allergen “restaurant” — The A9 Eatery — for years and are so, so happy they were able to achieve that.

It may have taken three times as long to prep and cook with a teenage chef at the wheel but boy am I proud!!! I am teaching my almost 17 year old to cook! We made black pepper chicken which has celery, onion and pea pods and, of course, it’s totally gluten free.

We are enjoying sharing recipes and it’s very reminiscent of my blogging days. Would you guys want me to start sharing gluten free recipes more regularly?
