If you're new to a catalytic Blaze King, you might be surprised by what you see during a low burn.

Once the catalytic combustor is active and the thermostat is set for a lower heat output, there may be very little visible flame — or sometimes none at all.

That doesn't mean your fire has gone out. The combustor can remain active, continuing to burn the gases produced by the wood and generate heat.
