This is a hybrid role (part in person in Carmel Valley, San Diego and part work from home)

This role is ideal for someone who loves spreadsheets, systems and organization. You should be someone who remembers details, follows through without being reminded, catches discrepancies, communicates clearly and enjoys bringing structure to a busy creative environment. Experience working for a residential interior design firm is required. Familiarity with the interior design procurement process, furniture trade vendors and industry terminology is essential.

Many of our clients come to us first for the big picture- making sure the space functions and flows, helping with big decisions like kitchen and bath and the spaces where they entertain. The private spaces like the primary bedroom might not fit in the budget the first time around. But often our clients come back if it doesn’t make it in the first phase. Because everyone deserves to start and end their day in comfort.

Sharing some of the inspiration I found at Design Week in Milan this year for kitchens and baths.
Rounded corners on cabinetry and countertops are still going strong, and I’m seeing stone move beyond countertops and onto drawer fronts in creative ways.
I loved seeing translucent tubs in multiple colors and especially love this take on creating a striking centerpiece in a bathroom.
Faucets with a woven, textured look were another detail that caught my eye. Would you use any of these details in your kitchen or bath?

When we are designing spaces for our clients, we hand select the slabs keeping many things in mind. Not only are we looking for something that suits the function of the space, but we also need to ensure the size of the slab will work with the design. In this case, we had a 10’ island with an 1.5 edge detail, so we were in search of a 130” slab to avoid having a seam on the kitchen island!

AI can be a great visualization tool but keep in mind that although you can create a beautiful image, it isn’t always accurate or even buildable. If you are investing in a major remodel or new build, having a designer who understands use case, space planning and all of the nuances of how materials will endure is invaluable. We don’t just create pretty images, we transform how you live.
