Yarn & Thread Expressions Our yarns, patterns, and woven accessories have inspired local crafters since 2007. We also offer knitting classes and weekly sit ‘n’ stitch events.

Yarn & Thread Expressions is a friendly yarn shop carrying a wide selection of yarns and needlecraft tools and accessories. Originally located in Lemon Grove, we moved to our current location in La Mesa in 2011. We have been serving East San Diego County and beyond for almost 7 years. We have a large community of fiber artists and offer many ways to improve your skill, learn a new skill or just co

me in a hang out with other needle-crafters. Please be sure to check out our workshops and classes. All skill levels are welcome. Shop owner, Carol Fuller, and her skilled staff, are always available to answer your questions so, if you get stuck on a tricky project, bring it by and Carol or a staff member will help answer your questions. We love participating in community events like yarn-bombings, yarn crawls and the San Diego County Fair. Be sure to stop by our shop, or website frequently so you don’t miss any of the fun. And, don’t forget to say hello to our official greeter and shop mascot, Squeeky, an adorable Maltipoo, when you come by. You can usually find her sleeping on the check-out counter.
