What's this????
This was the 3 days where we thought we had lost the historic aka .
It was awful, couldn't get to her, the water came up so fast. Critters were still inside.
We watched water go through our neighbors front door.
The 2008 flood became catastrophic....

Oh my, absolutely beautiful at our Iowa Capital building....

Tonight’s summer storm rolling through Des Moines was something else.

The clouds just kept building and glowing over the skyline, and for a few minutes, the whole city looked tiny underneath it.

Iowa weather can be wild… but it sure knows how to put on a show.
