Delight District Bringing Filipino desserts and snacks to Nashville, Tennessee What got us here? Missing home and our delicious Filipino "merienda"? Well... it all started there.

Give your taste buds a treat at Delight District Nashville! Since September 2020, we’ve been bringing our favorite Filipino snacks and desserts to Nashville area. It's so amazing how this small business started 7 months from the height of the pandemic that shook the whole world and gave a different meaning to things that really matters. We are just a Filipino couple who recently found baking/cooki

ng as a way to bond and have a little fight in the kitchen. :) It took us a lot of practice, wasted efforts and ingredients to perfect each product. And it also took a lot of courage to sell it to our first reseller who is already an established Filipino restaurant/grocery owner. We owe them the confidence and motivation to create more products. And the rest , like what they say... is history. We welcome you to our journey... and to the exciting path it might take us!

❤️ When your husband hears you struggling… and builds you an entire website. 😂

A little backstory…

When we started Delight District in 2020, I honestly had NO idea how to properly price our products.

My formula was basically:

Ingredients + konting dagdag = presyo. 😂

Labor? ❌
Utilities? ❌
Time and effort? ❌
Other overhead expenses? ❌

Kaya pala regular comments from our customers were:

“$5 lang?! Sigurado ka?!”
“Ang mura naman!”

Apparently, those weren’t compliments. They were warning signs. 😂

Fast forward to this year, when Delight District started getting busier, I asked Borj:

“Dad, bakit ang dami nating orders, ang dami kong puyat at pagod… pero bakit hindi pa tayo yumayaman sa Delight?” 😂

And if you know my husband, you know what happens next.

The moment I start talking about a struggle or something that’s making my life difficult, his brain immediately goes into:

“How can I fix this?” mode.

So… he built Bakerwise. 🥹❤️

It started as something specifically made to help me manage Delight District better, but it has grown into something that could potentially help other small business owners, too.

Right now, I mostly use it to properly cost and price my products—and that alone has changed so much about how I look at pricing.

No more “Okay na siguro ’tong presyo.” 😂

I can actually account for the real cost of making something—not just the ingredients, but the time, effort, utilities, and other expenses that we sometimes forget to consider as small business owners.

And there’s so much more to Bakerwise that I haven’t even fully utilized yet—Inventory, Orders, Invoices, Reports, and more.

So this is really an appreciation post for my husband… and my favorite unpaid Delight District employee. 😂❤️

People may see a website or an app.

But when I look at Bakerwise, I see the countless hours you spent building, testing, fixing, improving, and thinking about what would help me.

Sometimes the best opportunities begin with a simple conversation over shared dreams. ♥️

Borj and I had the chance to meet with fellow business owners who, like us, have poured their hearts into building something from the ground up. It was one of those meetings that reminded us how beautiful it is when small businesses choose to lift each other up.

Let’s just say… we walked away with exciting possibilities that we never saw coming. 👀

A collaboration we honestly didn’t expect.
A new chapter we’re incredibly grateful for.
And a sweeter way for more people to discover Delight District. 💜

At Delight District, we take pride in making sure that every new product we introduce goes through a taste test first. We listen to every comment and suggestion, because your feedback helps us fine-tune each recipe and make sure it’s something that the majority will truly enjoy.

Delight District is taking a short break! (kinda)

From August 24–30, we’re giving the oven, mixer, and steamers a little zZzZ while we recharge, tackle a few house projects, and enjoy some much-needed slow, quality time with the family. 🏡💕 Sometimes even a busy little kitchen needs a reset!

But don’t worry—we’re not disappearing completely! 😊 We’re still planning our Maemax Market drop either Friday, August 29 or Saturday, August 30, so you can still grab some of your Delight District favorites that weekend. 💗

We are also still catering to those who already have confirmed orders this week but we can no longer accommodate new ones for this week. Sorry na.

And while we’re on break, our inbox is still OPEN for September orders!

If you’re planning something for Labor Day weekend, now is a great time to send us your orders so we can get you on the calendar before the September rush begins.

We’ll be back in the kitchen refreshed, recharged, and ready to make your favorite delights again! 🥰

Another weekend, another batch of Delight District platters!

Our kitchen was busy once again filling trays with your favorite Filipino delights, and we’re so grateful for every order that came our way this weekend. 💕🇵🇭

A big THANK YOU to Miss Zab, Sis Nessa, and Ate Naomi for trusting Delight District with your orders! 🥰 We hope every platter brings a little extra sweetness to your tables and gatherings.
