Well… we thought we’d be opening our doors sooner, but apparently the building had other plans. 😅.

Over the past several months, we’ve encountered just about everything on the “Things We Didn’t Expect” checklist—water intrusion, no hot water or water pressure, Air Conditioning issues, hot water tank replacement, window issues, surprise repairs, drywall work, fans running around the clock, and more than a few conversations that started with, “You’re not going to believe this…”

While it’s been frustrating, we’re committed to doing things the right way so that The Southern Door Market is a beautiful, safe, and welcoming place for our vendors and customers.
The good news? Every challenge has brought us one step closer. The repairs are being completed, the finishing touches are underway, and we’re more excited than ever to open our doors.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, prayers, and support through all the unexpected twists and turns. You’ve cheered us on through every delay, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you soon.

As they say in the South, when one door closes, another one opens… unless it needs a new threshold, fresh drywall, and a little waterproofing first! 😂
