Today was definitely one of those days. We realized we measured wrong and shorted ourselves a 30”
Base cabinet.. thank goodness they have a drawer base in stock we can pick up instead of waiting several weeks to order one. Then the ceiling fan for the living room was missing the part and hardware to install it (waiting to hear back from the company on that, but picked up a part from Home Depot that may work the same). Then turned on the new HVAC and heard dripping and water was leaking on the floor. Thankfully Breathe Easy dropped everything and came right out and took care of it (clogged drain). This was all in the first hour..lol. Luckily we were able to get closets painted and the pantry painted, some of the trim painted, lots of caulking done, and the two fandeliers installed on the front porch.

Our first time installing cabinets. Only took 5 1/2 hours, moving the base cabinets 2 times, one of the upper cabinets 2 times, and lots of readjusting to be a little over halfway done. I’m not going to say we would never do it again, but certainly will not be a profession we go into. 🤪😂

Another day hanging lights, priming, and painting closet ceilings. Second coat painted on accent wall in back bedroom. Accent rectangle painted in master bedroom (trust the process.. it will look better later, I hope). Vanity installed in master bathroom. Baseboards installed in back bedroom and some of the switch plate covers installed. Front glass window installed.. just needs trim.

Meet sweet Mrs. Dorothy Wright

We were so very blessed to have met the original and only owner of our Laurel Lane flip. Meet Mrs. Dorothy Wright. We were very fortunate to have discussed some of our plans on how we wanted to transform her home into a new home for another family. She has followed our progress along the way and even got to come visit in person to see it complete.
