Today is the final day of our season!

After an incredible 56th season, we’ll be closing for the summer at 4 PM today and will reopen on the first Saturday in October for our 57th season.

For those who are new to The Barn, this is a tradition that goes all the way back to the beginning. We have always closed during the summer months to travel, source antiques in England, and return with the quality pieces and inspiring displays that have become part of the experience of visiting The Barn.

As a third-generation family business, we’re incredibly grateful for your support. Whether you visited us in person, followed along online, purchased a special piece, or simply shared our posts with friends, thank you for being part of another wonderful season.

If you've been meaning to stop by, today is the day. We’ll be here until 4 PM, surrounded by a showroom full of fresh arrivals from our most recent container.

Thank you for helping make Season 56 such a memorable one. We can't wait to see what treasures await for Season 57.

This French handcarved cabinet is absolutely loaded with detail ✨🇫🇷 The deep relief carvings, rich dark patina, and unusual panel motifs really set this piece apart. One door features a carved basket overflowing with grapes, while the other showcases a wonderfully unique carved hat and harvest display — details you just don’t come across every day.

The amount of carving packed into this piece is incredible. From the ornate drawer frieze to the bold side corbels and beautifully detailed paneled doors, every inch reflects the level of craftsmanship that makes antique French furniture so special. Even the floral-lined interior adds another layer of charm and character.

English Oak William & Mary Chest on Chest c.1680
A seriously impressive survivor from the William & Mary period. Nearly 350 years old and still showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of late 17th century England — from the rich oak patina and beautifully paneled drawer fronts to the brass hardware and hand-worked construction details. The proportions on this piece are just fantastic, with deep drawers and wonderfully bold form resting on bun feet.
These early chests are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially with this kind of presence and warmth. A true statement piece with history in every inch. Fresh from England and now on our showroom floor.

We’ve been busy unpacking and adding some truly special pieces to the showroom floor lately… and this latest group is such a fun mix.

A fabulous quality French Renaissance Revival cabinet with incredible carved detail, a gorgeous set of English oak dining chairs, an absolutely timeless McIntosh midcentury nesting table set, and a fantastic 17th century chest on chest with all the character and warmth you could hope for in an early piece. These are the kinds of finds that make all the miles sourcing in England worth it.

We’re still bringing out new arrivals weekly, but don’t forget — we close for the summer after Saturday, May 30th as we head back overseas to source for next season. If you’ve been meaning to visit, now’s the time!

There’s just something magical about watching a 130+ year old French piece find its place again. ✨
From carefully moving each piece into position to mounting that incredible mirror… this setup stopped us in our tracks. The warmth of the wood, the marble top, the scale, the craftsmanship — they simply don’t make furniture like this anymore.

As our season at The Barn begins to draw to a close, we just wanted to say thank you.
From the early days when our grandmother first opened the doors, to the years our parents carried the business forward, to now — your support of our family business has meant more than we could ever put into words.
We’ll be open Thursday–Saturday | 10–4 through Saturday, May 30th, and wow… these last few weeks have been busy. We’re still unpacking incredible new antiques from England and filling the showroom with beautiful fresh finds right up until closing day.
For those new here, we’ve always closed for the summer from the end of May through the beginning of October. It gives us time to travel through England, source amazing antiques, and come back inspired so we can continue creating the displays, atmosphere, and quality experience that make The Barn special.
Our online store will also pause at the end of May and relaunch after Opening Day in October with a whole new season of treasures waiting for you.
We’re so grateful for every visit, every purchase, every conversation, and every memory made here over the years. We can’t wait to welcome you back for Season 57 this October. ✨

One of our favorite parts of what we do is seeing completely different styles land together on the showroom floor ✨

Today it’s gorgeous Danish modern teak, a beautifully figured English sideboard, and a monumental carved European buffet that looks like it belongs in an old château. Clean lines, rich patina, incredible craftsmanship — totally different eras, but all pieces that make a home feel layered, collected, and full of character.

We’ve been working hard unpacking and getting fresh arrivals out before we close for the summer, so if you’ve been wanting to make a trip to The Barn, now’s the time. We are open Thursday–Saturday, 10–4 through May 30th before we head overseas for our next round of sourcing in England and Europe.

From sleek Danish modern teak storage pieces to an incredible French walnut marble top server and a beautifully detailed inlaid rosewood corner cabinet, this latest round of arrivals has something for every style. We love mixing clean midcentury lines with richly detailed European antiques — it’s what makes sourcing so much fun.
