We collaborated with Donna and her team on a very high-end home in Corona Del Mar, California of nearly 8000 ft.². It required a tremendous amount of collaboration and vision under particularly defined budgetary parameters. The job they did was full service from finishes and lighting to furniture, fabrics, colors, and accessories. The job was done with focus and integrity, and we broke a record for that neighborhood that still stands to this day. Great work to Donna and her team.

Details define the difference when you work with a true designer.
In this home, every decision was intentional. The ceiling beams were precisely engineered so that lighting, air conditioning, and all mechanical systems are seamlessly integrated within the structure—completely concealed, yet fully functional.
We also designed a striking 17-foot, all-glass wine room—executed without fins or visible metal bracing—achieving both structural integrity and pure visual clarity.

With soaring 17-foot ceilings, we extended the cabinetry with a custom façade above, allowing the architecture and millwork to feel seamless and intentional all the way to the top.

Modernism has always felt personal to me.

Years ago, I was remodeling a home at Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Springs — a residence originally designed by Albert Frey.
It was an extraordinary responsibility to intervene in architecture that was already so disciplined and intentional.
I brought my father in as the developer on the project, and together we went to meet with Frey at his home.
Sitting with him, discussing a house he had designed decades earlier, I understood something deeper about modernism in the desert:
It isn’t about style. It’s about respect — for structure, for climate, and for restraint.
Working alongside my father on that home, and speaking directly with its original architect, remains one of the most formative experiences of my career.
The desert doesn’t tolerate excess. It rewards clarity.
