My anticipation is high as I unlock the door to the flower shop. I havenโt been the first one to open the shop in a while so I take a breath and enjoy the fresh scents of flowers mingled with the deep musty smells of old things that share this space.
Whatever treasures you are searching for, come in and take a look: dried flowers, silk flowers, three wooden tables, an old old hutch, a fake tree, frames, mismatched cups and saucers, vases of every substance possible, tarnished silverware, pottery, iron flower pot stands, tin angels to adorn your garden space, books for you to borrow or exchange for one youโve finished, handmade childrenโs aprons, a beautiful desk, a white tea cart, cards for every occasion by locals, beautiful artwork by area artists, lamps, embroidered linens, and candles.
And, the main attraction of Hollyhocks and vines: the beautiful fresh flower arrangements made by the wizard behind the white curtain!
Be sure to look up while you are in Deeโs shop. There are treasures everywhere!
Our solar flowers beckon you in and then bid goodbye, hoping you will return.
