I love the dramatic roof lines, asymmetry, and the bucolic setting of this mid-century modern stunner. We added windows to the front fascade, changed the front door, created a wrap-around porch, painted, and installed new metal roofing and solar panels. The back half of the house is an addition that includes an art studio with a yoga porch overlooking the gardens, next to an outdoor sauna and cold plunge.

Investing in good hardscaping and plantings is so critical to the outcome of new projects. It enhances the utility of the land, provides critical water management, safe passage for guests, and brings out the beauty in the architecture, helping a new project look settled in its environment.

We are just at the beginning stages, but I am loving how this hardscaping is coming together. Check out the difference from the temporary stairs to the boathouse to now.

Things are really shaping up with cabinets and counters!! Big shout out to partner for the awesome templating and detailed install of the quartzite. I am officially in love. It was a hella long day— my intrepid architect and I didn’t get home to Chapel Hill until 1:45am

And I had an absolute blast with this team this weekend! ❤️🙌💣 Love to the ENTIRE Just D**k It team that got us to the East Coast Championships and to all the spectating love we got from so many of you.
