Here are some preparation tips should you need to evacuate shared by our awesome wealth manager:

1. Pack your important documents including insurance policies and personal documents.
2. Pack your family pictures, personal items and jewelry.
3. Make sure you have all online account access information with you.
4. Pack your medications and physical medical records that you have.
5. Refill any prescriptions.
6. Make a video (use your phone) of your home, room by room, inside and out, and any cars that you leave behind for insurance purposes.
7. Make sure the data on your phone is backed up.
8. If you have any physical items in a safe deposit box at your local bank that is located at the hurricane’s cone of probability, I suggest you go to the bank and remove those items and take them with you.
9. Take enough cash with you to cover gas and food expenses as long as you are traveling within 300 miles of hurricane’s cone of probability as most gas stations and food service will be cash only once the storm hits.
