We love this princess pattern depression glass! Princess pattern was made by Anchor Hocking between 1931-1934. This pattern was one of the company's first mold-etched designs. Many types of dishware were made in this beautiful pattern, and it came in yellow, green, and pink. This is a fairly popular pattern for depression glass collectors. We have multiple pieces of this pattern in green in our showcase at Wally's Castle!

Check out this selection of vaseline stretch glass!
Stretch glass was originally produced in the 1910s to 1930s and then again in the 70s and later by Fenton. Stretch glass is made by spraying already molded glass with metallic salts and then reheating the glass and reworking it to give it the flaky, shiny looking surface. Check out the stretch glass society website for more details on stretch glass and it's production!

Vaseline has arrived to Lake Odessa!
Vaseline glass is the term used for uranium glass that is yellow in color, it got its name during the early 1900s because of its resemblance to Vaseline petroleum. The uranium content in the glass turns it yellow, and the green of other uranium glass comes from adding other mineral oxides.
