this has been the hardest week of my life….

so when a friend invites you to a Christmas bash…

and the theme is 80’s apres ski….

you channel your time in Aspen in the 80’s…

i don’t ski any longer but i can bring the party and the champagne….

my greatest joy is giving a random act of kindness. This isn’t random as every other Saturday I make lunch sacks and sandwiches for Mercy Corp.
I take my Mom to church every Sunday and as I sit there not participating I wondered how I could give back and there it was in the welcoming greeting. Mercy Corp is always short of lunch sacks and sandwiches and if anyone could donate to the program, it would be so greatly appreciated. And so this little act of random kindness takes place every other Saturday and Sunday, which fills my soul and brings an endless smile.

I had the most magical moment, one that I wish I had had when I began to wonder if there was truly Father Christmas. I had the pleasure of answering a letter to Santa Claus, answering what@it was like at the North Pole. To put myself in the shoes of a precious eight year old, whom I adore, and answer her questions to Santa Claus. My hope is that she believes in Father Christmas now and forever as we all need to belief in the magic of the spirit that is truly what this time is about. Spending and sharing the joy and magic of the season.
