A huge thank you is in order...This season has stretched me, challenged me, and opened doors I never could’ve imagined when this all started and I couldn’t be more excited. There are some really exciting things taking shape right now behind the scenes and while I’m not quite ready to share all of it yet… just know there’s a lot of intention, creativity, and heart being poured into what’s next!

For now, I just wanted to say thank you.

To every client that trusted me with your home, your vision, your investment, and your story… thank you. None of this happens without you. Grateful for where we’ve been. Excited for where we’re headed.

More soon 🤍

I’m only kidding, I can make it…maybe 😂.

But I seriously LOVE my job and I LOVE this process even more… Reviewing layouts, making adjustments, and working through the details that most people never see.

This is where so much of the real work takes place.

Presentations, renderings , site specs, every line, every dimension, every decision on paper plans turns into something real later on. Taking the time to get it right here is what makes everything run smoother once projects break ground.

Not the most glamorous part of the process…But one of the most important for sure.

I’ve really fallen in love with the process… and in interior design you HAVE to love this process. Not just the final install, but every phase that leads up to it. The early concepts. The throwing out of ideas. The client and builder presentations. The construction. The slow layering of pieces coming together during installation…. There’s really nothing like it. Some of these projects are months, even years in the making. And while the end result is always special, it’s everything in between that gives it meaning, and brings me life.

So many moving parts behind a finished space. Decisions, adjustments, problem solving, and moments where things don’t go exactly as planned. But that’s where the design really takes shape, and it’s where I’ve been able to truly show my value. I’ve learned to appreciate each step for what it is though
because being fully involved in the process makes the end result feels that much more beautiful. More personal. More of that “HGTV” moment where you see your clients light up in front of you!

There is a lot people don’t see and that’s ok… Because for my clients who have, they truly appreciate my service and understand that every penny was worth it to have the process go as smoothly as we could control it.

Relax. Open concept isn’t going away… but it is being thought of differently these days. I’ve seen this happen too many times. You build or buy a beautiful new home and it feels amazing when it’s empty. The ceilings go forever, the space feels open, everything flows exactly how you imagined. Then it comes time to furnish it…How do you keep the open feel and not separate the space? And now you can see EVERY SPACE at once so how do define separate areas?? The living room, the kitchen, the dining space… all in one view. Every decision starts to feel bigger. Furniture, finishes, lighting, layout… it all has to work together, and that’s usually when people start to feel overwhelmed. That’s really where I’m seeing the shift.

So yes… we’re not moving away from open concept entirely, but away from the part where home buyers trying to figure it out alone. This is where I step in. Because when an open concept is done right, it feels seamless, connected, and easy to live in. But getting there takes intention and a full understanding of how every space works together. And for what it’s worth… I live in an open concept home myself! I love it! But I also know firsthand how much thought it takes to make it feel cohesive instead of chaotic. That’s the difference. Not the layout…The way it’s designed/defined.
