We’re excited to begin a new chapter at the Creative Collective. In the coming weeks, we’ll be launching events in our new Art Café space, “Unplug and Create.” As part of the experience, guests will receive a curated menu featuring Starters; dry media, Main Dishes; paint & mixed media, and À La Carte; create an item to take home.

This concept was designed to provide a welcoming, comfortable space for artists, creative individuals, and anyone interested in exploring something new.

🎨 You all have been hearing about what we are creating and building at The Creative Collective and today we are adding something exciting to the mix. We are looking to add to our team!

This journey has not been easy but it has been so worth it. We are building this place one day and one week at a time, exactly the way God has been showing us, and we are trusting the process every step of the way. Our boutique will be carrying a curated and elevated collection of antique and vintage decor along with a hand picked curated jewelry collection. A small but intentional section of the space dedicated to beautiful and unique finds. The rest of this space is transforming into a full creative and art lounge experience. Workshops, events, art classes, and our Art Cafe, Unplug and Create, where you can walk in or book a session and just create. A place where you can shop, explore, learn, and simply breathe.

Highlands County and all our visitors, stay tuned. So many fun things are coming your way and we cannot wait to share them with you.

If you are someone who lights up around people, lives and breathes creativity, and wants to be part of something truly special we want to hear from you. Swipe to see all the details and send us a message if you feel called to be part of what God is building here.

James 1:17 every good gift is from above, and this community is one of them.

We had the honor of celebrating one of my closest friend’s birthdays at The Creative Collective, and it became such a beautiful reminder of the vision slowly unfolding within these walls.

The evening was filled with flowers, candles, art, conversation, laughter, handcrafted cocktails, and beautiful people gathered around one table simply creating and enjoying one another’s company. Moments like these remind us why spaces like this matter so much.

Art has a way of bringing people together. It allows people to slow down, connect, create, celebrate, and make meaningful memories together. What many don’t see yet is that this evening was only a small glimpse into what The Creative Collective is slowly becoming.

Right now, we are in a season of transition as we intentionally clear through older inventory and begin making room for the future vision we have for this building. Behind the scenes, we have been carefully curating and saving elevated antique and vintage décor, timeless jewelry pieces, original artwork by Xime, and future collections that we cannot wait to begin unveiling throughout the space as it continues evolving.

Our heart has always been to create more than just a shop or studio. We envision a place where people can gather, create, worship, celebrate, rest, disconnect from the noise, and feel inspired. A place layered with beauty, meaningful conversation, thoughtfully curated antiques, vintage pieces, original art, music, creativity, and connection.

As we continue renovating and preparing for our future bathrooms and kitchen, we are working toward officially opening the doors for workshops, creative gatherings, private events, art nights, community experiences, and intimate evenings like this in the months ahead.

A special thank you to Twice Butter lake placid for their beautiful handcrafted cocktails and for graciously accommodating our guests with restroom access as we continue working toward completing our own facilities during this renovation phase.

We truly cannot wait to continue unveiling the vision God has placed on our hearts for this community and for every person who walks through our doors.

This was only the beginning.

Victorian Shell Cameo Brooch, Classical Flora Goddess Portrait, Italian Carved, 1860s to 1890s

Stunning Victorian shell cameo brooch just came in and she is a beauty. Hand carved in Italy, most likely Torre del Greco, this classic goddess portrait features incredible detail in the flowing hair, floral crown, and rose garland bodice. The gold fill rope twist frame is all original and the pin mechanism dates this piece solidly to the 1860s to 1890s. Genuine helmet shell, lovely patina.

Carved Green Agate Cameo Kilt Pin Brooch, Classical Female Portrait, Gold Tone Setting, Mid Century, 1960s to 1980s

This one is so unique I had to stop and stare. A carved green banded agate cameo set on a gold tone kilt pin and she is absolutely stunning. The green and white natural stone layering makes this portrait pop in a way you just do not see with typical shell cameos. The classical lady in profile with her flowing hair carved right into the stone is just gorgeous. This is the kind of piece that looks incredible on a lapel, a scarf, a sweater, a bag, literally anywhere you pin it.

Late Victorian Porcelain Portrait Brooch, Rococo Courting Scene, Ornate Gold Filigree Back, 1880s to 1910s

This one stopped me in my tracks. A stunning late Victorian to Edwardian porcelain portrait brooch featuring the most gorgeous hand finished Rococo courting scene. A seated lady in a flowing blue gown with a gentleman serenading her by lute in a garden setting, straight out of a Fragonard painting. The detail in this piece is remarkable and the ornate gold filigree scrollwork on the back is just as beautiful as the front. This is the kind of piece that belongs in a collection.

Mid-Century Italian Shell Cameo Brooch Pendant, Portrait Lady with Ribbon, Gold Fill Setting, 1940s to 1960s

This sweet mid-century Italian shell cameo just came in and she is absolutely precious. Hand carved from genuine sardonyx shell, this lovely portrait features a young lady with an elegant ribbon bow updo and delicate flower detail at the shoulder. The warm peachy tones are so characteristic of Italian cameo work from this era and the gold fill frame is clean and classic. She can be worn as a brooch or a pendant, giving you two looks in one.

Antique Victorian floral oil painting in the most beautiful ornate gilt frame

Late 1800s piece featuring soft cream and blush wild roses set against a moody neutral background. The painting has such a quiet, romantic presence, but what truly makes this piece stand out is the frame… deeply carved with classic acanthus detail and a rich aged patina you just can’t replicate.

Unsigned, as was common for decorative parlor paintings of the period.

A true antique that brings warmth, texture, and history into a collected home.
