Here are An Interior Matter Interior Designs we use color and design to write you home’s story to better convey “you” in the narrative. I believe there is no 'one size/style fits all' when it comes to interior design. I want nothing more than for each of my clients to have a space that is uniquely them and that they absolutely love! I feel that interior design is like any other art form. It is use

d to paint a story of the home's occupants. It conveys a message of who lives there, what their passions are and what message they are sending. When a home is well designed the story is easy to read, but poor design can muddle the tale, just as poor writing can ruin a great narrative. I offer interior and exterior color, art hanging, furniture layout, curb appeal and am a fan of the 'small living movement', but can guide you in all of your interior design dreams. I draw much of my personal design style from my Pacific Northwest upbringing, but my goal, as a designer, is to interpret your innate design style (you may not feel you have one, but everyone does) into a space that meets your needs while displaying who you are. I strive to never leave a home feeling like it was just plucked from a showroom floor. Instead I want the space to be a well-designed area in which you can breathe, rest, and relax. It is with mixed emotions that I announce the closure of An Interior Matter Interior Designs.

It has been a great pleasure to get to help so many clients turn their houses into homes, but after nearly 12 years I have decided to close this chapter.

When I began my interior design business it was with the understanding that it would allow me the flexibility in a career that I required while my children were young and still in school. They are now adults and have their own lives. This frees me up to return to my roots in education.

Thank you for all of your support and trusting me with your homes. It has been an honor and privilege to have gotten to know all of you and to call many of you “friends”.

I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
