RENOVATION DIARIES | PART 9 🚿✨
NOW we’re back to the bathroom you’ve been waiting for!
After our little detour to Bathroom #2 in Parts 7 & 8, we’re back to the main bathroom renovation, and this is where you can really start to see the design coming together.
Tile is going in, and suddenly all those earlier stages—demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing and prep—start to make sense. What was once an empty construction zone is to take shape shape, texture and personality.
The vision is finally starting to become visible. 🤍
There’s still work to be done, but you can already picture the finished space.
👀 We are loving the direction this bathroom is taking!

RENOVATION DIARIES | PART 8 🚿✨
Beautiful progress!
The second bathroom is starting to look like a finished space, and we’re loving how all the details are coming together.
The tile is in, and that mix of textures and patterns gives this bathroom so much character. 🤍
And take a look up… that double tray ceiling adds an unexpected architectural detail that takes the design to another level.
This is why the finishing stages of a renovation are so exciting. You can finally see how the materials, patterns, architecture, and design choices work together to create something that feels intentional and completely custom.
From the construction zone we saw earlier to THIS… the transformation is happening!

A little detour… because this house has MORE than one bathroom!
Just when you thought we were heading straight back to the first bathroom… we’re taking a quick look at Bathroom #2. 👀
This space is in the middle of its own transformation, with the walls opened up, plumbing and framing exposed, and the details beginning to take shape. You can already start to see where the shower, storage, and other elements will come together.
Right now? It’s studs, pipes, tools and a whole lot of construction dust. 😂
But that’s the beauty of a renovation. The finished space starts with what you CAN’T see. 🙌

RENOVATION DIARIES | PART 6 🎨🏠
This is when the transformation really starts to feel real.
In Part 6, the walls are getting prepped for wallcoverings while trim, doors, and architectural details are being carefully brought together. It’s a process of prep, paint, touch-ups, and more prep—but those layers are what create the clean, polished look we’re after.
And can we talk about the difference a fresh coat of paint can make? 👀✨
The construction mess is slowly disappearing, the details are becoming more defined, and we’re getting closer to seeing the finished vision.
We’re getting SO close to the reveal… but we’re not there yet!

Here’s a look at the work that happens behind the finished walls.
In Part 4, we’re inside the renovation zone as the electrical work takes center stage. Walls and ceilings have been opened up to make room for new electrical connections, lighting, and updates... details that will eventually disappear completely beneath the finished surfaces.
Right now, you see ladders, drop cloths, open walls and wires.
Soon, you’ll see the finished design. ✨
That’s one of the things we love about renovation: so much of creating a beautiful, functional space happens before you ever see the pretty part. Thoughtful planning and attention to the details behind the walls are what help make the finished space work beautifully.
