Baby got back. Cane back that is. We are still thinking of beachy vibes as we dive back into work mode this week (more ☕️ please!). This FFE rendering is from an initial concept for in Atlantic Beach, NC. The final design took a turn toward something more modern and eclectic, but we are still in love with all these natural textures that blend the local landscape with the interiors. 🏖️

Living our best life at the beach this week 🏖️ so we're rolling with the vacay vibes and sharing a passed over concept for ⁠

The original concept was to create a branded experience that reflected the history of Pine Knoll Shores, NC, while incorporating a "Coastal Deco" design aesthetic. While we LOVED it (seriously, we have to share more concepts and interior proposals, because it's one of our faves to date!) the owners weren't feeling it 🥴⁠ It happens!⁠

Kynd Design Co. is on a much needed vacay in the South Carolina Lowcountry this week and we’re 👀 all of the southern coastal details. It’s nice to be able to get away for a bit, recharge with the munchkins, and just lounge in bed with the windows open, listening to all of the cicadas in the oak and palm forests. Fun fact: we ( and ) got married here almost 8 years ago! That day felt like it just happened last week, but sooooooo much has happened since then (I mean, 3 wild kiddos now call us Mommy and Daddy) and we wouldn’t change a thing 😌
