We're having a Seconds Sale! Some slightly flawed work or just older stuff taking up space. "Everything must go" sort of thing. Heavily discounted mugs, some weird cups, and bent and dented items that I handled poorly between 5 and 25 dollars. I actually was hoarding more than I thought. It's like fifty odd pieces.

If youre a potter, you've heard of crazing: Little stress fractures that develop in the glaze. Sometimes you can actively hear it happen in real time. In some cases, crazing can happen over a long period of time. Which means a pot that isnt crazed yet could leave my hands and into someone's home.
From how I understand it, crazing is caused by a slight compression of the clay by the glaze. The glaze is stretching a bit to cover the piece of clay and tension builds up within the molecular structure of the glass. Crazing is the glass naturally relieving that tension.
The problem is: clays all shrink at different rates. So can a clear glaze fit all the different clay bodies and not craze? That's basically what I'm testing here. If a universal clear glaze is possible, it would save some potters alot of headache.
