The NMME Story

Who I am and What is NMME (by Miss Heather): Hi everyone, thanks so much for SWINGING BY. I was born and raised in the Cleveland area. I had my daughter Claudia at 21, and I often struggled as a single mom, always just getting by. I have worked with children for 30 years now, and if I wasn’t working with children I was doing direct sales/marketing to be able to be with my daughter.

I see NMME as my big shot to change children’s lives but also my own life. I want to establish employment opportunities for single mothers. I want to give back to my community. I want to change children’s lives all while doing what I know and love...teaching and encouraging children. I truly feel that they are everything for our future.

No More Monkeys is a unique enrichment center based on kindness, confidence and diversity. We use original music by local artists as mnemonic tools for fun and learning. NMME offers a monthly membership of weekly classes for children. We offer Tea parties, bday parties and giving back to local charities will also be implemented.

We are so excited to be a part of the Lakewood Ohio community for years to come.
