This summer I hit a major creative block that lasted way longer than I’d hoped. It’s a natural part of the creative cycle, but it’s never easy to move through one whether you’re a full time artist or otherwise. This was the incubation time or winter of my artistic season. And slowly as I moved through the stillness, the quiet, and the uncertainty small ideas were planted and over time they transformed into these paintings.
This is my season Harvest.
A bouquet of paintings that range in story and meaning, each one a reminder of who you truly are. Each one an invitation to go deep.

Mother Athlete is my modern-day Madonna.
The painting depicts Italian speed skater Francesca Lollobrigida after winning Olympic gold at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, holding her son with the Italian flag wrapped around them. The moment stayed with me because there was something about seeing an elite athlete immediately return to the role of mother that felt bigger than a sports victory. It was a picture of two parts of a woman existing at the same time: the woman who has worked, trained, sacrificed, competed, and achieved something extraordinary, and the mother who is simply holding her child.

Birth of God is an image of a woman pregnant with the universe, inspired by a mystical teaching from Meister Eckhart that I came across while exploring my own creative source: “I once had a dream, even though a man, I dreamt I was pregnant, pregnant with nothingness. And out of this nothingness, God was born.”
