The weather (and my calendar) finally allowed me to work on some more segmented rings, the precursor to bowl blanks. These are and with some thrown in.

I'll work on some more tomorrow, as well as flattening them for the second phase of glue-ups.

The smaller rings are for a mug order that was placed a while ago. Should be interesting.

I only need enough segments for six bowls. Thanks to for the clamps that helped me make the auxiliary fence. And to for selling me the wood I needed on a Saturday.

It's done! I finally have a good work bench.

Got some minor "accessories" to add some functionality, but the core bench is DONE.

Final build pic of the night. Neighbor has guests over, and I don't want to be "that guy". So I'll finish tomorrow.

Only have the bottom shelf to install, then trim up the legs and finish.

Well, Carolina Boots has their product marked "waterproof".
After the deluge I just had to clean up in my outdoor shop...I can confirm they ARE in fact waterproof, at least for a few minutes.
