“Quite possibly the two most beautiful egress exits you’ve ever seen.”

Jeremy stopped by our Centennial project for a quick site update to show how thoughtful planning can elevate even the most overlooked parts of a home.

These custom egress window wells were designed to function as integrated planters, creating a much better experience from inside and outside the home. Instead of looking out at a typical basement window well, the view becomes layered landscaping and intentional design.

It’s a reminder that good design lives in the details and that every space deserves consideration.

Some of the most meaningful moments happen around the spaces we gather in most.

This Memorial Day weekend, we’re grateful for home, family, and the freedom to create spaces that bring people together.

From all of us at Parcels Design Studio, wishing you a safe and meaningful holiday weekend.

Endings, beginnings, momentum, and a little well-earned bourbon.

After weeks of travel and inspiration at High Point, Jeremy and the team are back in Colorado with exciting things taking shape at the studio. Maria officially joins Parcels Design Studio full time on Monday, bringing even more strength and structure to the business behind the scenes.

And at home, another major milestone. Dylan just finished his final week of high school.

This little “Mirror Mirror at the Bar” moment from the Cohen Project felt especially fitting for a Friday.

A space designed to slow down and celebrate the season you’re in before the next one begins.

Small businesses are built differently.

They are built on relationships, trust, late nights, problem solving, and caring deeply about every detail that walks through the door.

At Parcels Design Studio, every project starts the same way:
Listening first. Designing intentionally. Creating spaces that truly support the way people live.

This Small Business Week, we are grateful for the clients, trades, partners, and community that continue to support thoughtful, design-driven work.

Design First. Because beauty is only the beginning.

Meet Chris Reed | Parcels Design Studio

Chris Reed’s path to Parcels Design Studio started with a recommendation, a reach out, and a chance meeting at the NKBA Battle of the Chefs.

The interview followed the next day… and here we are.

Chris comes from a background in back-of-house operations at Apple, where he focused on product organization and systems. That experience is where he realized he had a strong spatial sense and a real interest in how things are structured and function.

That led him into design.

After starting his education in Tampa, he made the decision to relocate to Colorado and continue his degree at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, where he graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design and a focus on sustainable design.

What he’s most drawn to right now is floor planning. The process of taking real measurements and turning them into a space that is both functional and well thought out. It is detailed, iterative, and requires patience, but seeing it all come together is what drives him.

Since joining Parcels, Chris has been gaining hands-on experience across the full scope of the design process. From understanding what’s behind the walls, to client interaction, to working with local and international brands like Ballerina Küchen.

“I learn or experience something new every day.”

Outside of the studio, Chris spends his time outdoors. Hiking, camping, and staying connected to nature, which continues to shape his perspective on sustainability and design.

Next goal: LEED certification.

Welcome to the tea, Chris.

What you saw at KBIS was intentional.
What you didn’t see was everything it took to make it feel that way.

Behind Tech Tycoon, Wellness Warrior, and The Entertainers Kitchen displays, was a team working through constant coordination, problem solving, and refinement to get every detail right.

This is where Parcels Design Studio is different.

Most projects start with finishes.
Design First starts with performance, flow, and function and builds from there.

It’s harder. It takes more discipline. And it requires a team that knows how to execute, not just design.

But when it’s done right, the result feels effortless.

That’s not just for a stage at KBIS.
That’s how we approach every project.

Honored to be named to The List by Colorado Homes & Lifestyles for the third year in a row.

Consistency at this level doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of a Design First approach, strong partnerships, and a team that cares about getting every detail right.

Grateful to be in the company of so many talented designers and to our clients who trust us to bring their spaces to life.

Here’s to continuing to raise the standard.

Most kitchens are designed to be seen.
This one was designed to perform.

The MainStage Kitchen at KBIS was built as a true stadium kitchen. A space designed for live cooking demonstrations, audience engagement, and constant use.

Bold by design.
Unapologetically front and center.

High gloss aqua cabinetry paired with chrome detailing creates a strong visual anchor, while hardware placement draws the eye directly to the appliances.

A dramatic stone backsplash was intentionally bookmatched to create movement and pull focus toward the center stage.

Everything is symmetrical. Everything is controlled.

At nearly 30 feet wide, the scale of this kitchen was designed to command attention while supporting real workflow behind the scenes.

Featuring over 10 integrated appliances, including new releases not previously shown to the public, this space was built to perform under pressure.

No room for error. No second guessing.

This is where design proves itself.

Design First.

The Wellness Warrior kitchen was designed around one goal.
Eliminate visual noise.

This display integrates 15 fully paneled appliances, allowing the cabinetry to read as a continuous architectural system rather than a collection of products.

Every decision supports that intent.

Custom arched details were fabricated locally to align with the cabinetry and tile work.
Hardware is used selectively to guide attention rather than define it.

When appliances disappear, ex*****on becomes the focal point.

Alignment, spacing, and proportion have to be exact.

This is not minimalism.
This is discipline.
