Our Story
As most of you know, there is a special bond between a father and his daughter. Dad and I are no different. I've been watching him work with his hands since the day I was born. I am incredibly lucky to have a skilled contractor to watch while growing up. I never quite understood how far it would take me, the days of watching him draft plans, sketch ideas on 2 x 4's, study buildings, design, sweat and bleed. He taught me that it is ok to make mistakes and just about everything can be fixed. Dad insists on high quality and working with products that will go the distance. "There is no room for cutting corners." Rustic design and recycling some of the best hand-engineered materials into home decor quickly became my passion. Old building structures have truly stood the test of time simply because of their divine engineering. I often ask, "Why are people throwing this away? Is there not a silver lining?"
