THE 27 CLUB RUG

After five years as a fixture in my showroom, this 8'6" × 10'6" handmade 27 Club rug is looking for a new home.

It’s hand cut and inlaid, and there’s a lot of time, work and love in this piece. With the showroom closing, I’d much rather give someone a chance to own it than simply put a price tag on it.

So here’s the deal:

$25 gets you a chance to take it home.

I’m honestly a little sad to see this one go. It’s been part of the showroom for five years and has seen a lot of customers, conversations and memories.

But chapters close, and things need good homes.

Here's some flooring I'm moving out.

Hi everyone,

First, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the last 16 years. Your loyalty, friendship, and support of our rug business have meant more to us than we can put into words.

As we announced last week, this chapter will come to an end at the end of September. On October 1st, we’ll begin the next chapter.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be returning to Oak Cliff as The Oak Cliff Carpet Company. We will be signing a five-year lease in the Elmwood neighborhood, and we’re looking forward to serving our community once again.

We’ll be offering carpet and vinyl flooring sales and installation, and we’re very excited about what the future holds.

Sixteen years brought us a lot of wonderful customers, friendships, memories, and stories. We’re incredibly grateful for every one of them.

We look forward to welcoming you into our new home soon!

I'm bringing out tons of small carpet remnants and I'm pricing them very cheap. Come get some. I'm still able to bind them but I'm selling just the carpet remnants at these prices.

After many wonderful years, we're turning the page to an exciting new chapter!

Due to rising rent, changing business needs, and Jeff deciding it's time to step away from the physical demands of custom rug making, we've made the difficult decision to retire that part of our business.

The good news? We're returning to our roots in Oak Cliff and focusing on what we do more than ever—providing quality carpet and luxury vinyl flooring with the honest service you've come to expect.

Our Lancaster location will close on October 1, 2026. We're still deciding which Oak Cliff location will become our new home, but we'll share those details as soon as they're finalized.

To everyone who trusted us to create custom rugs over the years, thank you. Your support has meant the world to us. We hope you'll continue to think of us—and recommend us—for all your flooring needs.

We're excited for what's ahead and can't wait to serve you again in Oak Cliff!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, Mary!

You are the best wife a man could ever ask for, an outstanding mother, and without question the world's greatest Nonni. Our family is better because of your love, your patience, and the way you always put us first.

You're strong as steel, sweet as Tupelo honey, and mean as an old snake if anyone messes with your family. That's a combination that's hard to beat!

You're also the world's greatest chicken mom, the undisputed favorite of every dog that meets you, and somehow you still find enough love for the rest of us.

Thank you for loving us so well, making our house a home, and giving our family a safe place to land. We are all incredibly blessed to have you.
