Buying a business and trying to learn all the ins and outs is exhausting. New software, new procedures and trying to keep producing quilts. Whew!!!
My latest quilting efforts are focused on a Judy Niemeyer quilt called Glacier Star. It is a beautiful pattern and mine is in blue, turquoise, white and green - several shades of all. It is going to be beautiful.
I attended a Beth Schillig free motion quilting workshop this weekend. Beth is an award winning quilter and journalist. See her website www.bethschillig.com for more information. My first workshop with Beth was about a year ago and she completely changed my attitude and skill with free motion quilting. This years two-day workshop was excellent and I have several new and old designs to practice. If you ever have the opportunity to study with her, do not pass it up.
Yesterday I met with a fabric rep and some new bolts will be arriving soon. I will put them online as soon as they arrive.
