Business Retreat has arrived! I arrived early as we were allowed to check into our Vrbo house this morning. This gave me several hours to dedicate time to finish typing up the Simply Marcia Pattern.....And that part is now accomplished!!! I just need to upload the photos and add the video clips...then it will be ready for test knitters!!!

So I did a thing today while sitting at the farmer's market, hoping it wouldn't rain....( it pretty much held off until the very end 🙂) I cast on a new sweater project....you know, since I finished one earlier this week and am very close to finishing another...this idea came to mind and made some progress today. I am knitting this up in a fi*****ng weight yarn and a brushed alpaca silk...on a size 6 needle....the fabric is so soft and drapes beautifully. 😍

A while back, I started this project to teach myself to do a saddle shoulder design. It came off the needles and was blocked today. It fit ok before blocking, but I think it will fit even better now that it loosened up with the blocking. I am excited for it to dry so I can wear it! This was knit in brown sheep wool in a sport weight that I dyed up myself. I might need to write up this design in the future.

The last 2 days of being home from vacation have been a struggle to get back into the swing of things. Grocery shopping ...

The last 2 days of being home from vacation have been a struggle to get back into the swing of things. Grocery shopping was done and sourdough starter revived. The refrigerator has 9 loaves ready to bake on Friday for Saturday morning's Farmer's Market. I only did a small amount of knitting during vacation....basically working on another pair of birthday socks....this time I am working both socks at the same time and have started the heel increases since this daughter wants shorty socks. Since coming home I have also pulled this sweater out of the project bag and am determined to get it finished up. I only have about 1.5 inches of band left and then it is on to finishing up the sleeves. They shouldn't take long since it is to end at the elbow.
