So the last 2 days were swamped with market prep and the market itself...and afterwards...I was tired....so Oscar's birthday socks sat for 2 days. Since tomorrow is his birthday, I am working on them a bit frantically...😏 The 2nd sock's heel is turned and we are working towards the toes now. Tomorrow is another market day, grandma's doctor appointment, a warranty issue to figure out, and a citizenship lawyer appointment....a rather busy day... we shall see if the sock actually gets done.

I totally forgot to post to remind everyone that we would be at the farmer's market in Kirksville this morning...but a lot of you all remember since I sold 26 of 27 loaves of sourdough I took along this morning. Thank you for the great turnout and for making it a fantastic market day!

So those of you who asked last week at the Kirksville Farmer's Market, if I could make a cow.......the answer is... " Yes, I can." This sweet little cow will be available to purchase at tomorrow's market. There will also be lots of sourdough options...Plain, Everything Bagel, Blueberry Lemon, sun-dried tomato basil, garlic parmesan, cheddar bacon, pepperoni pizza, Rosemary olive oil, and Jalapeño Popper! My house smells delicious as everything is being freshly baked.🥖🍞🫐

Wip Wednesday.....how is it going???? It is going slowly this week....lots of other things and market prep demanding my time....but here is how Oscar's birthday socks are going. This pattern tends to be Oscar's favorite...so I decided to type it up as I go so I have it for future socks and don't have to decipher what I did using a well worn sock to figure out the pattern again.

Today has been a long knit day that has been hard to stop....The Anita Bonita pattern charts have all been designed....Now it is being worked up and written instructions are being noted as the work progresses. It is being worked from the top down, but flat...there will be a button band in the back. I would really like to complete a few more rows, but I do need to be functional tomorrow. I am putting it down and stepping away!
