Llama Llama!!

With being in a crochet dry spell and then having amazing life milestones to enjoy, here's my project from May.

I went to a secondhand store and found this book, which inspired me to attempt to make Llama Llama! Since I didn't have time to make the project I planned to make for the fair this year, I submitted this guy and won 2nd place (1st place winner definitely deserved to win, amazing work!).

I used Jess Huff's llama pattern for the main body. Hair was chain looped into every stitch on the body. Clothing was free-handed.

I think he's absolutely adorable and a perfect cuddle bug during story time.

As much as I want to say I'm back at it, I'm not. 😞 But when the time is right, these crafty hands will be ready for their next project!

These last couple of months have had me so busy, I've been ending my days feeling exhausted and unmotivated. This blobby monster took me about 3 weeks because I only had the mental capacity to do a row or two a day. HE'S SO CUUUTE THOUGH!

Hopefully all the hardwork pays off in the end and things start looking better. 💚
