Soft, full, and absolutely breathtaking 💙

This beautiful fresh-cut blue hydrangea is one of the most loved flowers in the shop — and for good reason. Hydrangeas are known for their large, cloud-like blooms made up of dozens of delicate petals, creating a full and lush look with just a single stem.

A few fun things to know about hydrangeas:

• They are very thirsty flowers and love fresh water. Keeping the vase full helps them stay happy.
• If a hydrangea ever starts to look a little droopy, a fresh cut on the stem and cool water usually brings it right back to life.
• Their beautiful blue color comes from the soil conditions where they were grown — nature’s own artistry.

Main St. Blooms & Boutique is a full service floral shop and unique gift shop. I am Kristi Schlafer, the owner, head floral designer, jewelry maker and Hair Bow Maker. I have been in the floral industry for over 19 years, and love to do everything crafty and creative.

The Floral shop is full service from everyday occasions, to weddings and funerals. We carry fresh flowers, silk flowers, green and blooming plants. With great knowledge and experience in all areas, we can create something extra special for your loved ones.

The boutique carries about seven different crafters or vendors. There are handmade soaps, and body items, wood crafts, wooden floral arrangements, embroidered apparel and gifts, hand sewn items, handmade jewelry, and hair bows, also a line of essential oil items. We have recently added some retail jewelry, clothing and accessories to make for a wonderful shopping experience.

We love sharing our creativity with everyone who would like to learn as well. We now offer floral and DIY classes. Watch our page and website for class information.
