‼️ UPDATE: Missing juvenile Isaac Watkins has been found and is safe! ‼️

🚨 Meridian Township Police Press Release - Missing Juvenile: Isaac Watkins 🚨

Okemos, MI – At approximately 4:35pm on September 2, 2026, officers responded to a report of a missing juvenile that had not returned home after school. Isaac Watkins was last seen leaving Okemos High School at approximately 2:43pm walking east.

Watkins is a black male, 5’9”, weighing 190 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes, born in 2009. He was last seen wearing a light-yellow tee shirt, light blue shorts, and bright blue shoes. He was carrying a navy-blue backpack and had a maroon shirt in his possession.

Even though our time at the East Lansing Family Aquatic Center is over until the Summer of 2027, the staff collected some used life jackets and have offered them to our organization for FREE. Here are the sizes available (first come-first serve):

3 - child size (intended for users 30-50 lbs.)
1 - child size (intended for users 33-55 lbs.)
1- youth (intended for users 55-88 lbs.)

REMINDER: Asppire has invited the Mid-Michigan Autism Association to the MSU Museum located at 409 W. Circle Drive in East Lansing for their Sensory Day on August 29 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Below is a flyer with more information! No pre-registration is required and it's a free event! You will be able to explore the museum (with Sensory Friendly features such as turning the lights down in areas). There will also be fidgets available.
