1. Flexible branches — Make sure you can bend and shape the branches. This makes decorating and positioning your ornaments and ribbon much easier.
2. Different styles of branches — Look for a tree with a mixture of branch textures and shapes. This gives the tree a fuller, more realistic, designer look.
3. Good-quality LED lights — If you’re buying a pre-lit tree, choose LED lights. They last longer, use less energy, and are a better investment.
4. Avoid trees with permanent red berries/cranberries — They can limit your decorating options and make it harder to change your color palette or theme from year to year.
