Itās always such a great feeling in a live when you claim a piece and then somebody else claims a more expensive piece of the same material and the host goes, āThis is a real collection piece!ā
Likeā¦. What does that make my piece? Lol itās not a collection piece because it wasnāt the most expensive one? Because it wasnāt perfect?
If a piece is in your collection, itās a collection piece.
Donāt let anyone tell you that you need to collect something because itās popular or because itās rare or because itās what they love.
Your collection should look unique because itās uniquely you - a reflection of your journey as a collector, showing how your tastes have evolved, where youāve traveled, the people within the rock community that youāve made connections with.
I know there are plenty of people who refer to ācollection piecesā with the best of intentions and without intending to suggest that some peopleās rocks arenāt worthy, but itās a nice thing to think about because this industry is trending in the wrong direction. You donāt need to have your rocks flown in on a silver platter and pay $10k for the experience in order to be serious about your love of crystals. Nor do you have to be serious at all to hop in a live or pick up a rock you like out of your driveway gravel.
We collect and we donāt judge!

Collect what you love, when you want to, however that looks, as your budget comfortably allows, regardless of other peopleās input. ā¤ļø
