I love thinking about how God's love is consistently and steadily extended to all people, inviting them to come to him, receive his forgiveness, and experience a restored relationship with him.

Just like the story of Peter walking with Christ on water in Matthew 14:22-33, Jesus extends his hand to rescue him from the water, illustrating his constant availability and willingness to assist those in need.

What it all comes down to–– Christ's hand is ALWAYS outstretched towards us. Serving as a powerful symbol of God's love, compassion, and accessibility to humanity. Whether you’re a strong believer or someone struggling with your faith, Jesus is there, hand outstretched, ready and willing to offer salvation, peace and comfort.

HE IS THE LIGHT 🔆

When I hung this piece here, I fell in love with how the natural light from the window seemed to bring out the sun rays from the print. It got me thinking about how important his guidance has been throughout my life.

It’s been His teachings, His example, and His light that has illuminated my heart and mind as I’ve navigated my life. He’s given me a new perspective and understanding of the meaning and purpose of our existence.

With our Savior's guidance, we can navigate the complexities of life with confidence and clarity. His wisdom helps us to make the right decisions, avoid pitfalls and distractions, and stay on the path of righteousness.

Let us open our hearts to His light and guidance, and allow Him to lead us towards a life of joy, peace, and fulfillment. For He is the light of the world, and through Him, we can find our way to eternal happiness and glory.

I loved seeing this photo of Christ in a room filled with toys, a place where children spend hours and hours at play. It felt like the perfect place to hang such a special photo of Christ holding a small child’s hand.

I’m not sure if you know this, but I’ve written a poem for each one of my photos in the Centered In Christ Collection. This particular image is titled, “A Child’s Hand”, and this is the poem that pairs with it.

A Child’s Hand –

He feels your hand, so small but sure
Of his love for you, so perfect and pure

In a world that is really big and loud, it can be easy to lose sight of what is most important. I was thinking today about different ways I could worship Christ more fully. I realized that maybe others might like the list of things I came up with, so here are a few of my favorites!

Ways to worship Christ more fully:

– Study the Bible regularly to learn more about Jesus Christ and his teachings

– Attend church services and participate in worship and prayer

– Develop a daily prayer habit

– Listen to worship music

– Serve others, showing love, compassion, and kindness to those in need

– Share the gospel of Christ with others

– Give generously of my time, talents, and resources to support Christ's work

– Practice gratitude for the blessings in my life

– Seek to emulate Christ's character and follow his example

Sometimes I feel like I struggle to show up on here because I’m not perfect and I feel like I need to be, but honestly, isn’t that the point? We’re not supposed to be perfect.

How many of us feel this way so we don’t show up to church or feel like we’re less than others when comparing ourselves to others who seem way more spiritual or like they have it all together.

We are NOT supposed to be perfect, if we were then we wouldn’t have a need for Jesus.

So I don’t know who needs this reminder, but you’re doing great, and Jesus loves you as you are. Where we fall short our savior will fill that gap, & THAT was always the plan. Us being perfect was never the plan, leave that to Jesus and show up as you are! ❤️

With three young kids, quiet moments seem few and far between, but on chilly days when my older two are in school & this one isn’t feeling 100%, we SOMETIMES get them 🤪 I walked in to see this sweet boy enjoying the warmth of our little electric fireplace, the peacefulness of this room, & the feeling this picture brings. Quiet moments like this just warm my heart! ❤️ So many people who have purchased this picture say it brings a whole different light and feeling into their home and hearts, I feel it too and I’m so proud to be a part of something that big, something that inspired, and way more then I could have ever dreamed of! “HE IS THE LIGHT” will help bring his light & those peaceful feelings into your home too, I can promise you that! I never meant to take your place
Never meant to make you feel small
I only wanted to show kindness and love
To be giving and friendly to all
It was never meant to be about the gifts
All the shopping and who could do more
It was always suppose to be centered on Christ, your birth and life at the core
And somewhere, somehow, many seemed to get it wrong
The gifts were pushed to the front and your story seemed long gone
But to keep Christmas alive, we must remember that “he lives”
Christmas is because he was born, we give because he gives
He gave the ultimate gift, the sacrifice of his life
So may we celebrate him this season and always…in joy and in strife
Remember him as we celebrate and the greatest thing we can give
Is Christ like love, and to remember that he lives!

I’ve been quiet on here, if I’m being honest.. this time of year is so busy for me. My husband is a travel nurse which means he’s gone a week at a time, I have my 3 babies, and I do photography full time and this is BUSY season, to top it off we’ve already done 6 shows from September to now with one more to go! Feeling a bit overwhelmed and then I get pictures like this, pictures that remind me what the focus of this season is, and that all my hard work is absolutely worth it. The warmth it brings to my heart seeing this and knowing they’re feeling that same warmth and love in their homes is everything! Thank you for sharing your pictures with me, they truly make my heart so full and happy! ❤️
