☀️ If you are preparing for a fabulous summer in your outdoor space, use these tips to make the most of it: 👇👇

1️⃣ Take all of the activities you want to accomplish into consideration and create dedicated areas or "zones" for each. Pay attention to the flow and how each area interacts with the next to make sure that you don't have any bottlenecks or awkward spots.

2️⃣ Choose your furniture options based on those activities - Maybe a great dining space for late night dinners with friends or a little bistro set for coffee in the morning - whatever it is make sure that it will withstand the weather elements in your area.

3️⃣ Do NOT forget to add ample lighting and plenty of plants - both will give back to the space in spades and you'll never want to leave!

Summer has ARRIVED!! 🌄

🌞 Don't let the sun damage your fabrics if you love to have your drapery/shades open!

Consider these solutions instead: 👇🏻👇🏻

✅️ Move your furniture around - and away from direct sunlight - especially this time of year.

✅️ If you are buying new, look for UV treatments to keep fabrics from fading.
If protecting upholstery after market, make sure you test products in an unseen area before applying broadly!

✅️ Using a sheer window treatment (preferably treated with UV protection) will help minimize your fading opportunity while still letting in natural light.

✅️ Believe it or not, lots of traditionally "outdoor" fabrics are making their way inside - with a softer hand, amazing durability and cleanability!
So if you have a sofa that will always be in direct sunlight, definitely check out the sun friendly Performance Fabrics - you might just be surprised! Sunbrella and Crypton both make stellar products!
