A little PEK back story. The whole reason I started making dishcloth patterns was that many years ago I had a GoT themed kitchen (The Kitchen of Ice and Fire) and had just learned to purl (seriously, it took me forever) and was excited to make some dishcloths but couldn’t find any Game of Thrones patterns that were easy enough for me. So I worked out this direwolf pattern. I definitely don’t blame season 8 for the drop in my GoT-inspired pattern interest. 😬🧶🗡🐺

I meant to tweak a dishcloth pattern I’ve been working on for the shop over that long weekend, but instead I knitted pumpkins. A lot of pumpkins! Here are some in my home fall decor color scheme. Now if only the temp would drop out of the high 80s long enough to feel like fall was actually on the way!
