I’ve always said I was born with a needle and thread in my hand. These are my grandmother Yvette Bergeron and great grandmother Jean Courtemanche. They were couture seamstresses from Quebec. I wish my mom was in this photo because she was my mentor as I learned from a tiny girl how to sew. If she were here she might recount the many times I threw a project across the room in frustration. Despite the challenges of learning the patience and perseverance I needed to do this work, I have always felt that I was destined to follow in the shadows of these great women. This gift has served me and my family well and I am deeply grateful that it was given to me by these women.🥰🪡🧵 Thank you Mom, Nana and Meme. I love you all!💕
