Well it’s been several months in the making and waiting for painting to be done but we couldn’t be happier with the new signs and face lift at the shop! Danielle did an amazing job designing the logo and signs and now people passing by should notice us up top with the beautiful new sign! Come check it out and see for yourself!

🌭FRI AUG 21: Spot the Wienermobile, grab a bite from local spots and Food Truck Fridays in LeClaire + follow the music to Mississippi River Distilling Company for The Devil May Care from 6–9 p.m. AND HAUTE DOGS Parade & Costume Contest at Skinderella's Wonderland Art Collective, judging starts at 6 p.m.

🏎️ SAT AUG 22: Vettes on the River rolls into town with a shuttle to help you get to the riverfront from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.! Meet Robert Wolfe Picker, one of the stars of American Pickers, snap a photo and enjoy an incredible showcase of America’s favorite sports car.
Then hop aboard a Riverboat Twilight - Mississippi River Cruise and finish the day with live music and a food truck at Green Tree Brewery.

🎶 SUN AUG 23: Slow it down, LeClaire-style. The Scottish American Society of the QC and the Buffalo Bill Museum are hosting a FREE Switchback concert at the LeClaire Riverfront and Pavilion (107 S. Front St.) at 1:30 p.m. Keep the good times going at Sunday Funday at Mississippi River Distilling Company.

People often ask if my cookies are safe for those with celiac disease—and today is a reminder of just how seriously I take food allergies and cross-contamination.

I’m currently in the hospital after having an anaphylactic reaction caused by a medication change. (And don’t even get me started on the fact that medications aren’t required to clearly list allergens.) For me, even a small amount of cross-contamination can put me in the hospital—or be fatal. This is why I put so much care into keeping Sweet Keeks completely gluten-free and safe.
