FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Le Mars, Iowa — Hardware Hank is excited to announce it will be acquired by the Kopetsky and King families, which own and operate Orange City Ace Hardware and Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware in Yankton, South Dakota. The new location will be known as Le Mars Ace Hardware.
Hardware Hank has been a long-standing service to the community of Le Mars, and owners Scott Pageler and Lisa Briggs Pageler have owned and operated the business since 2010. The acquisition of Hardware Hank by Kopetsky’s Ace Hardware will provide Le Mars with a stronger, more diverse hardware store with a focus on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Kopetsky's and Orange City Ace Hardware are known for their commitment to the community, and they plan to continue to support local organizations and events.
"We are thrilled that Kopetsky's Ace Hardware will be taking Le Mars downtown Hardware Hank store to the next level,” Scott Pageler said. “Ace Hardware is a recognized leader in the industry, and we are confident that this partnership will provide our customers with even better service and a wider selection of products."
“We will continue their involvement in Le Mars business and community activities,” he added. “I will dedicate my time to providing flooring to the surrounding area. Soon the Mobile Flooring Showroom will be up and running. Instead of Hardware Hank and Flooring, it will now be known as Envision Floorings. Lisa will continue 1st Choice Realty as she has for the past 34 years.”
About Hardware Hank Le Mars Iowa:
Hardware Hank Le Mars Iowa has been serving the Le Mars community for years with a wide selection of hardware, services and home-improvement products. The store is committed to providing exceptional customer service and expert advice to help customers find the right products for their projects. The commitment to Le Mars and its organizations will continue through 1st Choice Realty and Envision Floorings.
About Kopetsky's Ace Hardware:
Kopetsky's Ace Hardware’s history started in downtown Yankton in 1975, when Leo and Carol Kopetsky purchased the “Coast-to-Coast" hardware store. The Yankton location has outgrown its space three different times and had an affiliation change to Ace Hardware and the development and growth of Ace Bike & Fitness. In the spring of 2016, the Kopetsky family opened a second store in Orange City, Iowa, and later brought on Don and Miranda King as partners in their Iowa location. The former Hardware Hank store – to be called Le Mars Ace Hardware will carry a complete lineup of industry-leading brands, including Traeger, Weber, Big Green Egg, Benjamin Moore, Scotts, Milwaukee, Craftsman, EGO and Toro. In addition, the store will have the opportunity to stock Ace-exclusive paint, including Clark+Kensington, Ace’s paint and primer in one. For added customer convenience there will be expanded store hours.
“We have some very exciting things planned for this business and we would love your support as we take on this new adventure,” Ken Kopetsky said. “We look forward to serving the Le Mars area for years to come.”
