😂 SMALL BUSINESS PET PEEVES, PETTY EDITION 😂
Okay, I asked and y’all wanted it. So here are the notes I’ve been sitting on🤣
🚩 Businesses that hate on other businesses for absolutely NO reason.
Girl, she sells shirts too. She didn’t steal your man. 😭😂
🚩 Business owners who think they’ve reached the TOP TIER and have nothing left to learn.
Baby… there is ALWAYS room to grow, learn and improve. Humility is free. 😂
🚩 Small businesses that refuse to support other small businesses because they see everyone as competition.
There is enough room for all of us. 🤷🏻♀️
🚩 Businesses racing to the bottom with their pricing.
Girl… at this point you’re paying THEM to take it. 😂
Why should customers value your work when you don’t value your own work?
🚩 People who scream “YOU STOLE MY DESIGN!” every time they see something remotely similar.
Now listen… there is a BIG difference between stealing someone’s actual artwork and being inspired by a concept.
And I’m going to say something that might make some people mad:
If the design is based around a trademarked team, mascot, character, logo, etc. that YOU don’t own either… you don’t own the entire concept. 👀
If someone looks at your design, gets inspired by the concept, and then creates something new in their own style, that’s not automatically theft.
Sometimes you should actually be flattered. 🤷🏻♀️😂

🚩 The “I don’t use AI” crowd…
Meanwhile the design has 6 fingers, 3 ears, a floating shoe and somebody’s elbow growing out of their forehead. 😭😭😭
You ain’t gotta lie to kick it, I’m just surprised you think we’re that dumb. Don’t be delulu now 😂
🚩 People who copy your entire caption and then act like changing “✨” to “💕” made it original. 😭
🚩 “It’s just a shirt.”
Okay! Then YOU design it, source the blank, create the artwork, print it, press it, inspect it, package it, answer all the messages and let me know how “just a shirt” went. 😂
🚩 “Can you make it real quick?”
Absolutely! Let me just activate my superpowers real quick. 🫠😂
🚩 People who want custom work at Dollar Tree prices with designer expectations. You want custom, premium, personalized and FAST…
…but your budget said $7.99. 😭
🚩 “My cousin can do it cheaper.”
Then BABY… GO TO YOUR COUSIN. 😂❤️
🚩 People who disappear for days and then come back with:
“Hey! Is my order ready?”
Ma’am. YOU disappeared. I was right here. 😭😂
🚩 Small business owners who think supporting another business takes money out of their own pocket.
