Another cool project completed in Lago Mar. We used Normans 2 1/2” Ultimate Faux Wood blinds along with their motorized roller shades. The upper windows have solar panels installed for less charging needs. Here is a review from our customer.

Food for thought! I have been in this business for 30 years. I choose to do business with Norman Window Fashions for a multitude of reasons. I choose NOT to do business with Hunter Douglas for a multitude of reasons. This being one of them.

A realtor called me over to troubleshoot a house full of motorized shades. None of them were operating. The batteries were dead. The original homeowner is long gone and so are the chargers. I had all the information off of the original order. However, since I was not the original purchaser, they would not help me out with THEIR product. The product they sold that cost thousands upon thousands of dollars. Insane!

Your warranty and your service are only as good as the person you are purchasing them from!

Woven Woods are a pain in the rear to deal with. However, they do have their place. I had the opportunity to hang shades in a building built in the 1920s. The building was originally used as a storage and transfer building for Texas Port City. Drilling into the 100 year old masonry walls hurt a bit. The client was extremely satisfied with the finished product. We supplied them with a Norman Cordless 5% Black Commercial Roller Shade. This will give them the privacy and light blockage needed.

Happy Labor Day! We installed a black 95% Phifer Suntex manual roller shade to help with the problem. It also helped with the UV rays coming in the back windows. We added grommets and tie downs to prevent the shades from blowing in the wind when lowered. Let us know how we can help you beat the Texas heat!
